Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not running our usual extensive range of extra-curricular activities or trips. Where feasible, we continue to meet online with student groups/clubs to continue to enrich their education and support their well-being.
Fantastic opportunities outside the curriculum are on offer at TCS as we believe that providing and encouraging these are essential to developing the skills we want to see in our learners: resilience, inquisitive minds, dedication, commitment, team work and a growth mindset to enable them to grow as young people. Teachers give up time to provide an excellent range of extra-curricular opportunities for our students, including lunchtime and after school clubs, projects, day trips and residential visits. In a typical week there can be twenty or more activities on offer including – Language Clubs, Creative Writing and Reading Clubs, Science and STEM Clubs, a Debating Club, Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme and many sporting and expressive arts activities.

Students also venture further afield, for example to practise their foreign languages in Paris, Berlin or on a trip down the Rhine, or to experience first-hand the legacy of the Belgian Battlefields. Some even join Team Uganda and visit our partner Secondary School in Mityana.
